Is acne cream the best solution?

I'm a boy going through puberty is acne cream worth buying or should i still use soap and water?Is acne cream the best solution?
Well I had a really bad problem with acne myself ( and still do a little bit) but I Don't recamend using just soap and water. You should find a face wash that works good for you, and use it regularly. And as for the cream, I bought a $1 tube of ClearZit (i have know idea who makes it ) @ dollar general and it works wonderfully. But it really depends on your skin type, and everyone is different. One of my friends just washed their face regularly and theirs just went away. But its up to you what you decide to do.Is acne cream the best solution?
Don't use soap! Its terrible for your skin. Purchase a soap/oil free cleanser like Spectragel and wash your face with it in the morning and night. Some people find that acne creams work well for them so you might want to try it. It might be a good idea to see your doctor about your acne too if its really bothering you.
Use soap and water....the acne stuff doesn't work half of the time. There's only 1 good acne thing, but it's expensive. Soap and water work just as good.
get neutrogena acne wash its orange...it works really well...also clean and clear acne solutions is really good and pretty cheap...my friend uses it and says its amazing
you should definitely get either acne cream or like some sort of face wash like clean and clear or noxzema face wash or cleansing pads work really good cuz soap and water does not do crap! trust me
get acne cream.


like clearasil or proactive. it goes deep in the pores to really clean out the oil.

It depends on the type of acne you have. Are they little whiteheads or big, hard nodules?





If they are big ones and all over, just go to your doctor and get Accutane. It's dangerous for girls (birth defects), but it's fine for boys. You'll suffer from really dry skin and bleeding, chapped lips for a few months, but you won't have acne again (or if you do, it will be much milder).





I had bad acne and am sad that I didn't go on Accutane earlier. It could have really helped my self confidence.





I still get a bit of acne years later, but it's very controllable now.
