I know you're not supposed to wear whitesince it washes you out, but what about cream? do the same rules apply?

Move away from the background if possible... and keep yourself well lighted... then don't forget to smile ^_^

Traditionally your hunch is right on. But the best (eye catching) photo's break the rules because it's different. If you like the top and feel comfortable and beautiful in it...that will reflect in the final product...it's what's behind the face that makes the shot not just the clothes. You could also bring an extra shirt and take photo's with both, then you'll have the time to stare at them and pic your best image (in any shirt).
any colour clothing is fine, the camera should compensate and make the needed adjustments on exposure. Plus, you can always edit and enhance photos later with software on your computer - even change the colour of the shirt... the possibilities are truly endless!
I think it would stand you out of the dark background rather than fading...

If the print is all over the dress and not just at the bottom along the hem, then I think you will be safe.

I'm 23 years old and have thick hair all over my body. Its kinda anoying to feel ichy all over your body all the time. I cant even go to the beach :(. Ashy skin under your arms (or on elbows or knees) is basically dead skin buildup. Deodorant can definitely add to the buildup, but it's probably not just that (unless you have an aluminum allergy). Exfoliation is usually the key to getting rid of it!

Use a scrub or loofah on your armpits in the shower, then apply a lotion with hydroxy acids at bedtime. Creams with stronger acids (like those made for smoothing your feet) work well, but DON'T use them right after waxing or shaving - it'll sting like heck!

I have darker armpits as well but it never bothered me and I never gave it much thought before now.

I was thinking that you could use gentle facial lighteners like Esoterica and Ambi, products I have used for my uneven color and spots on my face. They both work very well and have kept my face soft.

You should call the companies and find out how these products would work with your deodorant. You don't want to have them have the opposite effect. But you could use it at night, making sure to wash your skin clear of deodorant. In your sleep it won't matter if you smell a little. :0)

These are called ';blackheads'; and are compacted stuff that is pushed into your pores and then it turns black. You're using too many products it seems (especially oily ones). Black heads can be squeezed out! Please stop using the oily skin products and instead use a very basic soap followed by a non-oil-based moisturizer.
For your nose, use a pore pack. If it's not just at your nose, perhaps you should try using a peel off mask. If that still doesn't help, well maybe you should consult a dermatologist or even go for facial.
get a mud mask and apply it twice a week. use less cream and just a light moisturiser after you remove the mud mask

Use ProActive with caution. This made my acne worsen and become so sensitive. I would highly reccomend visiting a Dermatologist, they can give you the best directions how to treat current and future problems. Sometimes the problem may not even be at the skin level, but at a hormonal level, which is something ProActive won't cure.Which proactive solution creams should I use. Sure i used have horrible pimples. I used to steam my face every night the put some vitamin E cream on. With in 3 weeks i saw a huge improvement. Now all i do is wash with mild soaps (Johnson's baby wash) and vitamin E cream and now i have wonderful skin. Every now and then i get out breaks but it pales in comparison to before. Some times its just trial and error. What works for one may not work for you. Proactive has been proven to work because its active ingrediant is benzoyl peroxide. You can go to the pharmacy and by tubes of it in varying strengths. Don't go very strong it will dry out your skin.

Try washing your face with a salicylic acid based face was that is non abrasive then just put some benzoyl on your spots or problem areas.

Don't use a grainy exfoliator on your face and don't use benzoyl on open spots.
Since the acne is few only, no need for you to bother that much. All you need to do is to watch your food intake. No to sweets, nuts and fatty food. Eat fresh fruits and vegetables. Also, go to bed early.
Clearasil... The generic brand is Equate, and it's very cheap, only a couple bucks. It works great. Although you won't need much of it, it can actually dry out your skin if you put it on in excess...

You don't want to spend a fortune on products like proactive. They are for really bad skin. If you only have a few breakouts here and there, I suggest cleaning your face with an antibacterial soap twice a day and avoiding oily or greasy creams. I always use alcohol on my face after I clean it when I have a zit. It helps dry it out. Good luck! :)
try these home made tips.Grind nutmeg with milk and apply on affected area. This works as a magic. Pimples should disappear without leaving a mark.

Apply a mixture of 1 teaspoon lemon juice and 1 teaspoon cinnamon powder.

Make orange peel paste by grinding it in some water. Apply on and around pimples.

Rub fresh garlic on and around pimples. Pimples will disappear without a mark with regular applications.

Mix 1 tsps groundnut oil with 1 tspn fresh lime juice to prevent formation of blackheads and pimples .

Though proactive is expenisive, it really is the way to go. And it seems to last just about forever so don't worry about spending the money because you woudl probably waste it all in trying new creams and buying new tubes all the time. Sometimes you just got to take the plunge!

If you REALLY REALLY cannot afford that, try Clear Pore- mask/ cleanser and use it before bed every night. It workd well, though not as good as proactive, but it still is alright!

But I truely believe proactive is the way to go!

But, if it's just a few spots here and there, I say just wash your face everyday with gentle soup. Rinse with cold water, since cold water helps close the pores better.
Clearasil has 10% benzoil peroxide, which can be very drying, but if you have oily skin it will definitely keep your acne under control. Other types of acids are more effective for minor acne problems. Salisylic acid (may be spelled different) is usually found in pads and some face washes. Always wash your face at least three times a day. A good strong one for the morning is perfect to wake you up as well. These are the best fairly inexpensive options that are available anywhere. Well as you have read, I need to somehow use heavy cream in place of heavy whipping cream (not whipped cream!) for a cheesecake mix (made from scratch, not the boxes).

I asked one of the people at the local supermarket, and he said heavy whipping cream can be made from any of the creams on the shelves. Then I told him it was for a cheesecake and he said that cream is used to soften up the cream cheese but at the same time making it firm (I think that's what he said) so that when eaten it'd be nice and smooth and all ya know.

So... does anyone have a solution? The recipe calls for 32 oz. of cream cheese, 4 eggs, 2 egg yolks, sugar, flour, and a fourth a cup of heavy whipping cream. They are exactly the same... You will use the same measure... if you need 1/4 c. whipping cream then use 1/4 c. heavy cream and vise versa.

I have been using the Timewise line for a few months now, and found that i also owned the Skin Revival Cream and Serum when cleaning some things out. All the MK products are good for 3 yrs. If you know how old the skin renewal cream and serum are--then you can judge if they should be left.

Now a tip--contact your consultant becuase if you have more than 1/2 left in those 2 product jars--you can get a credit from her for the value of them.

She doesn't lose money--MK is set up so that the consultants (I'm one) pays us to help you the customer.

That said you can use the the products with the TW line if you like.

I'd use them at night and use the serums on trouble spots.

NIGHT:

You'd want to use them with the cleanser and then the night solution and then the revival cream.

If you want to use cosmetics, a girlie day out to the body shop is great...Bonuses? Apart from knowing thats their products are safe, not tested on animals yadda yadda they'll take the time to go over what make-up is good/bad...whats going on in your body to cause the flushing and products that might help...you don't need to book an appointment, just talk to a member of staff...random picking of products in stores can be costly and ineffective and beauty counters in places like Debenhams, Fenwicks etc...just want to sell products, leave you looking like Aunt Sally and make cash. Cool gel packs from superdrug, boots etc...also give you a quick fix and hide desceitly in your handbag...

Two things, it's cellulite (not cellulitis) that you are concerned about. One-Cellulitis is a bacterial infection of the soft tissue under the skin. It requires an antibiotic. Two- unfortunately cellulite is hereditary. My best friend who is 5'8'' and 115 has it. Some of those lotions aren't bad. They contain caffeine. Best thing to do honestly- bump up the cardio, limit salt, and go get a spray tan.What is a fast good solution to get rid of cellulitis without using any creams or any products?
It's usually hereditary. Oddly enough products with caffeine help diminish the look (not the cellulite, the look). But drinking caffeine can make it worse. Drink lots of water and do strength training on your leg.

Hey, I work at Estee Lauder and I am constantly checking out Clinique to see what they have that works well. Sometimes at work I'll scrub my make-up off leaving my face all red. The Clinique manager, Laila is her name, always let's me use the redness solutions moisturizer. It works instantly so that my redness disappears. Why you paid $55 I don't know because it's only $39.50 at Macy's for the 1.7 oz jar which I think is the only size they make.

I got this stuff about a week ago (the cleanser and moisturizer) and I really love it! The only problem is that it's expensive. I got it from a gift certificate. I was just prescribed these topical products for acne treatment. The Retin-A cream label says ';Store under 80掳 F.'; And the erythomycin says room temperature (69-77掳 F)

HOWEVER I live in a very hot climate and my A/C is currently broken, so it's always around 80-85 degrees in my house these days. So I am worried these medications will go bad. My only option is to refrigerate them. I assume this will be better because at least they won't go BAD as they would in excessive heat. Is there any reason they would become unstable if refrigerated?

Maybe I should just refrigerate them half the day and leave them out half the day? Will they really go bad if I leave them indoors at 85 degrees?Should I refrigerate my Retin-A cream and erythromycin solution?

Really you should be looking at ingredients and not product lines.

CO-Q10, Hemp seed oil, Collagen gel, etc things that are known for their potent anti-oxidants and anti-aging properties. Look for products that contain this.

I used to be very self-conscious about having small breasts. I have considered implants, but have always been too chicken to seriously consider surgery. I've been very leery of using supplements because the claims just seem ';too good to be true';, and I don't know what sort of bad side-effects they may have. i work in trauma icu and see tons of abrasions....

wash the area really well with warm water and mild soap. don't use anything like peroxide or alcohol-these will actually damage any new skin trying to grow...

use neosporin-apply a thin layer over the wound and then cover it with a telfa pad-these can be found in any drug store and won't stick to the wound. they will also help keep out infection.

you can take ibuprofen for pain and swelling. 200-400 mg every 6 hours but no more than 1200mg in 24 hours.

seek medical attention if:

you develop a fever of 101 or higher

the abrasion is having drainage that is yellowish-brown or green in color

the swelling is increasing or spreading

you have red lines extending from the abrasion to the rest of your body (this indicates infection has spread to your bloodstream-you'll need meds asap)

if it is just a simple abrasion, you can opt not to put anything on the wound. just make sure that it is always clean and dry. soap and water is enough to cleanse the wound. First you have to wash with antiseptic solution then apply cream...dont touch it with your dirty hands to prevent infection.and if pain and swollen persist consult a doctor for further medical management...
Clean the wound and dry it. Apply an antibiotic ointment, such a polysporin or neosporin. Cover with a band aid. Repeat this process once a day. The wound will heal MUCH faster doing this than if you leave it uncovered.
For a scrape use a cream

For a cut use a liquid
clean it with soap and water daily. apply some neosporin to it daily until healed.

I've suffered from eczema on my hands since childhood. My doctor was little if any help and just kept administering more creams which drove me mad because he could see they rarely helped. I'd also tried a lot of the so called ';miracle cure'; rip offs on the web with no success.

My wife has had eczema since birth unfortunately there is no cure it the only thing you can do is try to find something that will ease the symptoms. She has tried just about everything from creams to steroids. We have ordered some products on line and none of that works either. However she has found one thing that helps considerably and that in tanning. She even was able to get her insurance to pay for it by having the doctor send the treatment authorization to the insurance company.

Now tanning has risks also you just have to weigh out the pros and the cons for her it was an easy choice cause the itching drove her insane
My friend is a nutritionist and told me just last week that one of her clients got rid of his eczema by using aloe vera gel, both ingesting it and applying it to the skin. It can't hurt.
I don't think there's really much that can be done about it. I have HORRIBLE eczema that flares up all over my arms, legs and face. My dermatologist said that it's one of the worst cases he's ever seen. I have used prescription creams and he also gave me Medrol, which worked. After a few months it came back though. I just try to constantly moisturize and that seems to help a lot. I think Cetaphil body lotion works the best.

a cold Styrofoam box isn't cold enough for ice cream. It has to be in a freezer or it will thaw out.

I put on an excessive amount of the 2 medications at the same time on my cheek area when i suddenly broke out. I continued this for about 5 nights, until i noticed that I BURNED MY SKIN!!!!!! It's 3 weeks later and my skin has somewhat improved like I experienced a lot of peeling. But what can I do it is just not the same anymore. If it helps, I am African American.I am so STUPID!! Unless you are getting pustules, stop the BPO and vanishing cream and only stay on the Proactive for a while. If you stop everything, look for a breakout in about 3-4 weeks.

You need to give your skin a break. Don't use anything on it except for cold cream-put it on and wash it off. Drink LOTS OF WATER-(it really really helps, trust me!) and eat healthy. Elminate junk from your diet, or at least eat more healthy stuff and less junk. You really need to help your skin grow and recover. Once the burn is gone, and the peeling is gone, you can start a new regimen. I would say use no more than 8% benzoyl peroxide wash a day. That should be the only ingredient-nothing else!!! You can even use cocoa butter or a hydrating lotion after using the wash. That's what I use, but my wash is prescribed by a derm. If you don't have a derm, get one! If you dont have the money, do what I said. Good uck!

My friends and I have been using nivea Q 10 wrinkle defence You can by it at the drug store for under 10 dollars. We have all seen a difference in our lines since we stared to use it a few months ago. I personal prefer the night cream as it is a bit thicker.

It's genetics. If you're destined to get them then all the lotions, creams, oils or vaselines in the world won't prevent them. Sorry. It sucks but it's true.

There are women who do nothing to their skin and don't get them.

There are women who use tons of products daily to avoid them and they still get them.

I got them and I've used every trick in the book and specialty products to boot. Vit. E, shea butter, coco butter, avacado butter, baby oil, vaseline, peanut oil, olive oil, some special strech mark cream (baby your belly), moisturizing bubble bar/bath bombs, honey, almond oil, glycerine....the list goes on forever (okay not forever but for 37 wks of trying to prevent, then get rid of, stretch marks).

It's like how some girls don't get PMS.

Others are bed ridden with cramps, headaches, backaches and moodswings.

It sucks but you'll deal. I love my skin and I pride myself on taking really good care of it. It's scary but not that bad. As long as your baby is healthy and growing properly, you'll find that your marks take a backseat (And this is coming from a girl who didn't even want to be pregnant). I can't tell you about getting rid of them postpartum but maybe my psychotic regimin will work better then ;-)I don't want to get strech marks. Does anyone know any solution or cream to avoid this?
I am on baby #3 and have a couple of tiny stretch marks above my pubic area and I used Palmers Cocoa butter (in the tub) for each pregnancy. I put it on immediately after my shower %26amp; grease up like a little piggy! It's kinda gross at first, but you get used to it. You can find both at the drug store. Start early in the pregnancy. I put it on before bed because I wouldn't like to feel greased up like that to go to work in the day. Hope it works! Can't hurt.

First off, be careful what you eat, don't gain weight too quickly you want to give your skin time to stretch without causing stretch marks. Second off and EXTREMELY important, stay well hydrated, drink plenty of water all the time. Also, I think vitamin E helps or is supposed to (it won't hurt at the least) so you can make sure you're getting enough in your diet or take supplements and use Vitamin E lotion (or oil) on your skin. When I was pregnant with my kids, I used cocoa butter. Not the lotion, but the cream in a jar. I only got one stretch mark and that was during the latter part of my second pregnancy. My daughter used it during four pregnancies, and never got a mark.

Most of the people who answered this question are right. I personally used Palmer's cocoa butter and the lotion for stretchmarks. The only thing I did wrong was gained weight too fast not giving my skin enough time to stretch and I didn't put it on my thighs!!! But they're still not too bad. That's my advice. Oh, and one more thing....DON'T SCTATCH!!!!! When your tummy and breast itches, they're probably growing and scratching makes stretchmarks come too. Good luck!!

I tried shea butter and cocoa butter.. I still got the strech marks.. it is genetics... dont worry.. they will fade with time.. some women dont even get hem.. not fair to us that do.....
Use lots of coco butter lotion on stomach- surrounding areas and breast. I did not get a single stretch mark. I used it 3-5 times a day. The other part is genetics. If your mom or grandmothers got them you are more likely to get them. I am not sure why it just happens that way. Good luck!

Any recommendations from people who have used these creams before?

i don't think there is a permanent hair removal lotion or cream... if you want it permanent you will have to get it done laser/electrolysis...

there are a couple of temporary hair removal products that are quite good i.e. nair, veet...

Mate, as a men, we are cursed with this fur on our face. I have considered having my face lasered but the cost is prohibitive and creams that inhibit hair growth (I know the ones you talk of) are not suitable for the faces of men, only the legs/upper lip of women. Our testosterone makes these products useless.

Oh yeah Prenatal vitamins work as well. You can get those at your local drugstore.
Sorry, but there's no magic formula for hair to grow really fast.

Sure, you can take prenatal vitamins and eat lots of protein for healthy growth, but hair growth requires patience. It grows about 1/2 inch a month.

The best thing you can do right now is not to stress over it so much. Have a bit of fun with experimenting with different styles for it until it grows out. And it might also help to avoid mirrors as much as you can so you're not reminded of your ';haircut regret.';
